It's the end for Ubuntu 12.10...

Quantal Quetzal is no longer supported by Canonical.
If your current OS is the Ubuntu 12.10, it's time to upgrade

From today on, Canonical officially stops support to Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal", and if you are one that still runs this OS, it's time to upgrade... but that's can be a issue! - Why? Well, to upgrade to the next release 13.04 Lts it's also no longer supported, and the support for 13.10 ends at July. So, the best alternative is 14.04 Lts... and that can be a big issue to updating to all those Ubuntu versions.

The easiest way, is to backup all your files to a external hard-drive, and make a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04 lts "Trusty Thar"

If you are a Ubuntu fan, and want to stay on the code of Ubuntu, you can also try other distros base on, but with in other flavors like...

elementaryOS, Linux Mint, Linux Lite, Zorin OS...

Why not...
