Corebird... How to install on the main Linux distros!



On this small tutorial, we show how to install Corebird in the main Linux distros, using a Terminal as our main tool to install.


Brief introduction...

       Corebird it's a desktop Twitter client that is having considerable success among Linux users with an Twitter account. Much of his success belong to the many features included, such as multi-account support, and not least, the excellent integration with the main desktop environments.

Without further delay...

How to install on Arch based systems?
Like: Arch Linux, Manjaro, Antergos Archbang, ApricityOS, etc...
  • yaourt corebird
    • Then choose the number of the file to install,  and press Enter, ( usually is the first < 1 > the file to appear )
    • Follow the instructions to finish the install

How to install on Debian 8.2  ( Jessie ) based systems?
Like: Debian, SolydXK, SteamOS, Neptune, etc...

Open your terminal, then copy and paste the follow commands lines
    • 32-bit
      • wget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/corebird/corebird_1.1-1_i386.deb
      • sudo gdebi corebird_1.1-1_i386.deb
    • 64-bit
      • wget http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/corebird/corebird_1.1-1_amd64.deb
      • sudo gdebi corebird_1.1-1_amd64.deb

    How to install on Debian Testing ( Stretch )  based systems?
    Like: Sparky Linux, Kali Linux, Pardus Linux, etc...

    Open your terminal, then copy and paste the follow commands lines

    • sudo apt-get install corebird

    How to install on Ubuntu 15.10 based systems?
    Like: Ubuntu Family, LinuxMint, elementaryOS, LinuxLite, etc...

    Open your terminal, then copy and paste the follow commands lines
      • 32-bit
        • wget https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/corebird_1.1-1_i386.deb
        • sudo gdebi corebird_1.1-1_i386.deb

      • 64-bit
        • wget https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/corebird_1.1-1_amd64.deb
        • sudo gdebi corebird_1.1-1_amd64.deb

      How to install on Fedora based systems?
      Like: Fedora, Korora Project, Hanthana Linux, Pidora, Chapeau, etc...

      Open your terminal, then copy and paste the follow command lines
      • sudo yum corebird
      • sudo dnf install corebird

        How to install on openSuse based systems?
        Like: openSuse, Gecko Linux, Linkat  etc...

        Open your terminal, then copy and paste the follow command lines
        • su zypper install corebird
